Japanese Kanji Design

Expressed the moment where a grappler throw his attack from low posture.

We used thick lines for “勇” to express its meaning “courage”.

For the lower part of “勇”, we used blurring effect to express the attacking posture and its flexibility.

Logo Design

The design will be used in dynamic environment so we adopted Gothic-style for alphabet characters “ISAMI” to improve their visibility.

We expressed its speediness by slightly inclining the characters.

Since the calligraphic kanji “勇” has a strong impact, we adopted three cutout design for alphabet parts to maintain the balance.
